Plane-maps, also known as slate-maps, are single-layered maps that stretch across vast land. Plane-maps are very thin, but have the highest collide-resistance, meaning that if a player were to go up to an extreme height and fall, they would not phase through the map.
Plane-maps are commonly altered with the Farlands Add-on, the add-on warps textures on the plane-map, but there are no major distortions. Plane-maps were introduced in Version 21.
